2006 Journal Citation Reports® show over 70% increase in
Impact Factors for SAGE Business journals

SAGE is committed to developing the quality and impact of the journals we publish. We are pleased to highlight the following from the 2006 Journal Citation Reports® recently released by Thomson Scientific.

Business and Management Highlights

SAGE's Business journals have shown an average increase in Impact Factor (IF) of more than 70% over last year.

Journal of Service Research entered the Business category for the first time this year with an IF of 1.722. It is ranked 13/64.

International Small Business Journal saw its IF increase by almost 200% over last year, from 0.273 to 0.812. It is now ranked 36/64 in Business and 45/78 in Management.

Journal of Management, which has maintained its position in the top 20 in both the Business and Management categories for over 10 years, saw its IF increase by almost 30% over 2005, from 1.535 to 1.954. It is now ranked 12/64 in Business and 13/78 in Management.

Management Communication Quarterly is now indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index® (IF pending).
