Sociology Highlights

• SAGE is the market leader by number of journals covered in the Sociology category: 22% of the journals included in this category are published by SAGE, including 6 of the journals ranked in the top 20.
• SAGE's Sociology journals have shown an average increase in Impact Factor (IF) of 18% over last year.
• Sociological Methods & Research saw its IF increase by more than 120% over last year, from 1.032 to 2.355.
• Work and Occupations saw its IF increase by almost 50% over last year, from 0.711 to 1.105.
• Gender & Society saw its IF increase by almost 50% over last year, from 0.658 to 0.986.
• Science, Technology, & Human Values, journal of the Society for Social Studies of Science, saw its IF increase from 1.439 to 1.800 and is now ranked 1/30 in Social Work.
• Body & Society is now indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index® (IF pending).
