Short-Term and Long-Term Income Replacement Insurance
Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance Plans provide valuable income protection if an employee is unable to work for an extended period of time due to non-work related illness or injury.
Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
SAGE provides employees with Group Life insurance and AD&D insurance equal to an employee’s annual salary plus $15,000. In addition to the employee life insurance provided by SAGE, supplemental life insurance is offered for employees and dependents, conveniently paid for through payroll deductions.
Long Term Care
SAGE provides Long Term Care coverage to help protect against the catastrophic costs of extended care, thereby preserving one’s financial assets while maintaining independence and financial security. In addition to basic coverage provided by the company, employees may obtain coverage for family members at low Sage-negotiated rates.
Flexible Spending Accounts
SAGE employees are eligible to participate in flexible spending accounts for both nonreimbursed medical care (for employees and eligible dependents) and dependent care (for eligible children and elderly parents).
Employee Assistance Program/WellCall
Personal problems can often affect performance, security and safety on the job. To assist with these issues, every colleague and his or her dependents are provided professional intervention, counseling, and referral services. A 24-hour crisis intervention hotline is available. In addition, WellCall, a personalized health and wellness service is provided to promote optimum health and well being.
401(k) Profit Sharing Plan
Long-term financial planning is vital to all of us. SAGE is particularly proud of its 401(k) retirement savings and profit sharing plan. This plan has two components:
A qualified tax deferred 401(k) plans allows eligible colleagues to save and invest a portion of their paychecks on a pre-tax basis, up to the maximum annual contribution limit imposed by the Plan and the Internal Revenue Service.
In addition, employees meeting the service requirements of the Profit Sharing portion of the plan receive a profit-sharing distribution made by SAGE on an annual basis. In past years, distributions have equaled five to ten percent of base salaries.
Tuition Reimbursement
SAGE encourages colleagues to pursue academic, professional and recreational learning. Toward that goal, SAGE provides a program of full or partial tuition reimbursement for eligible and qualifying courses and classes.
Textbook Reimbursement
SAGE provides reimbursement for new textbooks purchased for children of current employees for courses required for an initial Associates or Bachelors degree.
Five-year anniversary trip
To express appreciation and recognition for milestone years of service, SAGE offers a trip for the employee and one travel companion to one of our international locations - London, New Delhi or Singapore - upon completion of each five years of employment.
